OUR STORY
MEET DR.VINCENT DARGONDr. Vincent Dagron studied at the prestigious school of science opticians Lycée Bernard in Morez, France, where he obtained the diploma of master optician. Eager to learn more in the field of optometry, in 1996 he enrolled in the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and earned a doctorate in optometry. The story started in Dr. Vincent Dargon's lab when he faced the challenge of creating two distinctive sunscreens. One is moisturizing and skin-friendly for his wife, who has no interest in micro-particle Zinc Oxide in the Organic sunscreen. It sheds light on creating a conscious, ingredient-focused sunscreen that is suitable not only for a significant group but also for sensitive women in the pregnancy stage and those with needs that exceed current safety standards. |

Dr. Vincent Dargon believes that conscious skincare does not stop there; what we think is right today can be wrong tomorrow and, once again, be right the next day. It's the beauty of science, and all of us should have the right to choose what we believe is best for us without violating the limit/ border of freedom and fear-mongering.
We are not satisfied with the good; we work on the best solution.
In terms of freedom, even though his SPF 45 works like a charm for Dr. Vincent Dargon's wife, he admits it is not his daughter's cup of tea. She despises applying sunblock because of her oily skin. She exclaimed, "How can you leave such heavy stuff on the face? Sunscreen is necessary, but not for me." And this is how the second sunscreen comes. It costs Dr. Vincent Dargon years of endeavors since none of those sunscreen samples he was working on could offer sufficient protection or comfortable feelings. Only when Dr. Vincent Dargon was back in his hometown in France, Germany, and Spain during the summer vacation that he discovered advanced UV filters providing more robust protection than the current in the USA without comfort scarifying. Coincidentally, Sample No. 64 could provide protection value at 64 SPF and simultaneously loved by Solei - his daughter. And so comes the expansion of the Hyaestic brand to Europe and the rest of the world. "Even though we were not the first brand to offer sunscreen, Vitamin A derivatives, peeling solutions, and other medical devices —Hyaestic is unique since it was born out of my love for my wife and daughter, which I would never trade for anything.", said Dr. Vincent Dargon. |

CHIEF INTERNATIONAL OFFICER
HANKEUN CHOERaised in a family with an extremely close connection to LG Corp from Korea, I have experienced various one-of-a-kind treatment creams that my dad – a neuro & brain surgeon- brought home to treat the atopic skin condition," said Hankeun Choe- Hyaestic Chief International officer. He continues: "Sometimes, they are straight from excellent lab prototypes yet have failed to market launch. And the biggest holdback is… usually, the cost. Cost plays a vital role in our life as everything comes at a price. My years of MBA at ESADE Business school in Barcelona, Spain taught me if we control cost, we will have good P&L reports for stakeholders. Or, with experience moving from top to top-tier skincare giants in Spain, what I had to deal every was cost and revenue, not a quality improvement. I felt we owe our customers, partners, and patients a more dedicated skincare line." |

Then I met Dr. Vincent, and we became friends. He shared with me a vision of a company facilitated by love and real result skincare rather than a financially driven skincare company. We were also highly astonished to realize that the Eastern traditional herbs relieving my atopic skin condition also help our research group tolerate better high-dosed active ingredients like azelaic acid, TCA, or retinoids. The cost issue was urged again here because many ingredients may sound the same, but only a sheer number of the supplying companies can provide the qualities that can meet our demands.
Unlike those who seek fortune, Dr. Vincent and I dream of delivering a simple but outstanding result skincare line to our most beloved. We kept contacting world-renowned raw material suppliers, sharing our vision. Not all of them agreed, but we have moved some and mutually reduced the profit to save the source of the ingredients. We are confident that our customers can benefit from using any products from Hyaestic skincare. Each of them is like a special gemstone in your treasure box.
